Terms of Service

1. What Allostatic is
Allostatic Health, P.B.C. operates a virtual physical-therapy and movement-health practice. Care is delivered by licensed physical therapists through a physical-therapist-owned professional entity; the technology and operations are provided by a separate management entity. Physical therapists are not physicians and do not prescribe medication or order labs. By using Allostatic you agree these services are telehealth and may not suit every situation.
2. Not for emergencies
Allostatic is not an emergency service. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department. Our automated screening assists with triage but does not replace emergency care or in-person evaluation when one is needed.
3. Eligibility
You must be 18 or older and located in a state where Allostatic clinicians are licensed at the time of care. Allostatic does not prescribe medication and does not provide pediatric care; when those are needed, we refer you to an appropriate provider.
4. The role of AI
Allostatic uses AI to take your history, support documentation, and screen for safety concerns. AI does not make diagnoses or treatment decisions on its own. A licensed clinician reviews relevant information and exercises independent professional judgment over your care.
5. Payment
The AI intake is free. Clinical visits and memberships are billed as described on our Pricing page. No insurance is required. Fees are for clinical services and are generally non-refundable once a clinician has engaged your care.
6. Your responsibilities
You agree to provide accurate information and to follow up with in-person care when advised. Telehealth has inherent limitations; some conditions require a physical examination or imaging that Allostatic cannot perform.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Allostatic and its affiliates are not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including the professional obligations of licensed clinicians.
8. Changes
We may update these terms; material changes will be communicated. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance.
